ART SUBMISSION

The guidelines below are designed to speed
The completion & accurate representation of your finished product. If you do not see a method below that is available to you, please contact us for alternative arrangements.

Preferred file formats ( Mac files need to be readable on a pc):

Adobe Photoshop 6.0 or lower. (.psd)
Photoshop images, where possible should be sent
flattened, no lower than 150 dpi, & preferably 300 dpi.
In cases where the image is 4 inches or smaller,
your end result will be better if we receive it at double size.

Adobe Illustrator 10. or lower (.ai, .eps)
Vector art submissions that contain fonts,
Must have fonts converted to curves or outlines.
Files containing bitmap images should not be embedded.

Corel Draw 8 or lower (.cdr)
Again, vector submissions with fonts, must have fonts
Converted to curves.

Other acceptable formats

.tiff
If sending a tiff, the higher resolution you
Can make it the better. This format is best for designs with
Fewer colors.

.jpg
While a popular & accessible format, jpegs inherently
Lose detail. If sending a jpeg, work may need to be done
To clean up the image. This may incur additional expense
Or result in slight changes to your artwork. The higher
The resolution, the better.

.pdf (adobe acrobat)
pdf is another format that can have quality issues.
Where possible, make your image to size or larger.

.bmp (bitmap)
Windows default bitmap viewer & paint program,
this format is usually too blocky to get a clean image,
But can be used where necessary, & cleaned up if needed.

If you do not see a format available to you in the above list, please contact us, & we will be glad to help you.
All forms of custom artwork are also available if you do not have a finished design. Idea submissions can be in words or images if you would like to have an artist create a design for you.

Please note the following:

  1. If sending images with fonts that are not flattened or converted to curves, we will need the name of the font, & or the font file itself.
  2. If emailing designs over 5 megabits, please inform us prior to sending. If you do not have access to a high-speed connection, but have a large image, contact us for arrangements to get the image on disk or other transportable format.
  3. when sending multiple files, please send a small copy of what you want the finished product to look like.
  4. Using Either Photoshop or Illustrator will be the most effective & expedient method to complete your job.

If you have questions not covered in the above guide, please feel free to contact us, & we will do our best to help you achieve the best results.
